Most racing movies have the particular ability to be unwatchable compared to any other move, but some stick out. The easiest way to see if a racing movie strikes the chord of being a good movie in general is to see if your non-enthusiast friends like it.

Senna
or Love The Beast
Both are great films for letting outsiders know what a relationship between driver and car really is. Also, both can be tear-jerkers because for some reason they always emit dust into the room. IDK.

Sly Stallone not far removed from his porno days, a guy that went on to die from choke jackin', ridiculous looking fast cars, boobs, and institutionalized murder.
Also, dat hand grenade.

The rumble of engines through the speakers causes dust to stir up, resulting in a high enough concentration by the end of the movie that it gets into the eyes and causes the tear ducts to kick in. Yeah, that's where it comes from.

I got my wife to watch Love the Beast and she enjoyed it. I think she understands me a little better now. Well filmed, keeps your interest, exciting, enjoyable.

I think Senna is the only way to go honestly. Unless you want to start counting top gear specials as movies.

It's great to see the better side of JC, not just him being an ass. I mean, I like him, but once you see who he is, his whole TG persona becomes a bit much. I want to read some of his publications, I just hope he's more down to earth in those.
